How to Calculate Points and Drawing Rules
The value of each individual card
Ace = 1 point, 2–9 = face value, 10 / J / Q / K = 0 points. When the total of both cards exceeds 10, the tens digit is dropped and only the remaining digit counts as the score.
Natural 8 and Natural 9
If the first two cards dealt total 8 or 9, it is called a Natural and the dealer does not draw a third card — the result is settled immediately.
Third Card Rule
If the Player's initial total is 5 or below, a third card is drawn. Whether the Banker draws a third card depends on the Player's third card value — the dealer handles all of this automatically according to the rules.
Is betting on Banker a good idea?
Statistically, Banker has a slightly higher chance of winning than Player, but because a 5% commission is charged on Banker wins, the long-term net return tends to stay close to betting on Player.
